Launched in October 1, 2025, the AIM ASEAN Programme, implemented in Singapore by Project Asia Data (by BlackStorm Group), is designed to help Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) harness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance productivity, marketing, and operations.

Learning Modes

Each business entity is represented by one participant. The programme consists of four short modules (total ~3–4 hours) and can be completed in two flexible ways:

Option 1 - Online Self-paced

Complete all modules at your own pace via the STARTUPVILLAGE learning portal.

Best for: Busy participants who prefer flexible timing
Duration: ~2–3 hours total
Access: Available anytime after registration

Choose this option if you want fully online learning.

Option 2 - In-Person Training

Attend a single ~3-hour physical session covering all modules in a guided workshop format.

Best for: Participants who prefer structured, facilitator-led learning
Duration: ~3 hours (one session)
Schedule: Select slots in the registration form

Choose this option if you want classroom learning & networking.

All participants (both options) will also receive access to the STARTUPVILLAGE online portal for reference and review, as well as receive invitation to join AIM ASEAN’s WhatsApp community.

Participants will receive a “Certificate of Completion”.

Who should join?

Singapore-registered MSMEs (private limited company, sole proprietorship, partnership, LP, LLP and etc.) are welcome ; priority for entities with no prior participant in the programme.

An MSME is defined as having a revenue (Singapore Entity) of up to S$100 million or a maximum employment size of 200 employees.

To ensure meaningful application of the training, participants should be business owners or hold decision-making / leadership roles within the organisation — such as being able to evaluate or implement new workflows or AI tools in the business.

Online learners: Access content and receive your certificate on STARTUPVILLAGE upon completing the mandatory content.

In-person learners: Attend the physical session and receive your certificate in batches after the training.

AIM ASEAN Singapore brings together policymakers, business leaders, educators, technology providers and ecosystem partners to strengthen AI adoption across Singapore’s enterprises.

The National Policy Convening gathers approximately 100 invited stakeholders from government agencies, education institutions, trade associations, technology companies, industry associations, ecosystem partners, and selected business leaders. Together, participants will discuss practical strategies to strengthen Singapore’s AI ecosystem and accelerate enterprise AI adoption.

1. What is the AIM ASEAN Programme?

2. Who can join the programme?

This programme (Singapore Edition) is open to Singapore-registered MSMEs across all sectors. Each business entity may register one representative to participate. Priority will be given to companies that have not participated in the AIM ASEAN Programme previously.

3. Is there any cost involved?

No. Participation in the AIM ASEAN Programme is fully sponsored and free of charge for eligible MSMEs.

4. How is the programme structured?

Participants will complete 4 structured modules designed to be practical and flexible:
– OPTION 1: FULL ONLINE SELF-PACED VIA STARTUPVILLAGE E-LEARNING PORTAL: https://startupvillage.asia/course/aim-asean-singapore-express
– OPTION 2: FULL PHYSICAL TRAINING (~3 HOURS): https://luma.com/aim-asean

Supplementary learning materials and case studies are also available. More advanced modules (optional) will be offered to alumni.

5. When can I apply and how long will the programme take?

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. The programme is designed to be flexible. Each module takes about 60 minutes or less, and all four modules can typically be completed within 2+ hours (or within 3 hours if opt for full physical training), depending on your schedule.

6. Do I need to attend all sessions to get the certificate?

Yes. You must complete all 4 modules (a single webinar recording) to receive the official Certificate of Completion issued by Project Asia Data (by BlackStorm Group) on behalf of the AIM ASEAN Programme.

7. Can I change my physical session date if I’m unavailable?

Yes. Each participant is required to attend one physical session. If you cannot attend on your selected date, you may request to join another session, provided you have a valid reason (e.g., business travel, health issues). Please contact the organising team in advance to arrange for rescheduling.

8. How do I access the self-learning modules?

For online learning, register directly through the AIM ASEAN Singapore Express course page:

Once registered, you can log in to STARTUPVILLAGE to access the mandatory learning content and supplementary resources.

For in-person training, register for an upcoming physical session here:

After attending the session, you may receive access to supplementary learning resources on STARTUPVILLAGE using the same email address provided during registration.

9. What should I bring for the physical session?

You may bring your tablet or notebook (optional) for note-taking, and don’t forget your business cards for networking.

10. Where are the physical sessions held?

Physical workshops are held at partner venues. Your confirmed venue and timing will be stated in your confirmation email and luma registration page.

11. What if more than one person from my company wants to join?

Currently, only one participant per entity may attend per round to ensure fair access for all businesses. However, additional employees may join if slots are available. You may contact the organising committee for advice.

12. What happens after I complete the programme?

After completing the programme, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Participants are welcome to join our community to stay connected, continue learning, and collaborate with fellow MSMEs across Singapore.

13. Will photos or videos be taken during the sessions?

Yes. Photos and recordings may be taken for documentation and promotional purposes by Project Asia Data and its partners. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the event facilitator before the start of the session.

14. How will my personal data be used?

Your personal data will only be used for administrative, communication, and reporting purposes related to the AIM ASEAN Programme. Project Asia Data adheres strictly to Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Affiliate partners for this programme may also have access to your data. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to admin@projectasiadata.com.
